FAQ
What is Flawd?
AI-powered usability testing. You describe a persona, give it a goal, and Flawd runs it on your live product to find where real users would get stuck.
How does it work?
You set up a persona with specific traits—technical comfort, patience level, goals—and point it at your product. The AI user navigates on its own, and you get a full replay of everything that happened, including where they struggled.
What makes AI users different from scripted tests?
Scripted tests follow a fixed path. AI users don’t. They read labels, try different navigation routes, make mistakes, get impatient, and sometimes give up—just like real people.
What kinds of issues does Flawd find?
Confusing navigation, unclear form labels, broken workflows, misleading buttons, tasks that take too many steps. The problems that make users leave—not the ones that throw error codes.
How long does a test take?
Most tests finish in a few minutes. Duration depends on how complex the goal is.
Do I need existing users to get started?
No. Flawd uses AI users, so there’s nothing to recruit or schedule. You can test a product that hasn’t even launched yet, as long as it’s accessible via URL.
What products can Flawd test?
Anything web-based. SaaS apps, e-commerce sites, marketing pages, dashboards, onboarding flows—if a person can use it in a browser, an AI user can too.
Is my data secure?
Yes. AI users interact with your product through a sandboxed browser. We don’t store your application data beyond what’s needed for replays, and everything is encrypted in transit and at rest. See our privacy policy for details.
Can I interview the AI users afterward?
Yes. After a test, you can ask the AI user follow-up questions—why they got stuck, what they expected, how the experience felt. Qualitative insight on top of the behavioral data.
How do I get started?
Sign up, enter your product URL, pick a persona, set a goal, and run your first test. You’ll have results in minutes.
