About Flawd

What is Flawd?

Flawd is an AI usability testing tool that runs autonomous AI users on your live product to find UX problems before real people hit them. You define a persona with specific goals, patience levels, and technical comfort. Flawd drops them into your product and lets them loose.

They click around, fill out forms, get confused, get frustrated, and sometimes give up. Just like real users do. When something goes wrong, you get step-by-step screenshots and a full replay of what happened. You can even interview the AI user afterward to understand why they got stuck.

You don't need to recruit anyone, schedule anything, or even have an existing user base to get started.

Why use AI for usability testing?

Traditional usability testing takes weeks to plan and run, but with Flawd you skip the recruiting, the scheduling, and the no-shows and go straight to watching someone use your product.

The AI users aren't following scripted paths either. They decide what to do next based on what they see on screen, their persona traits, and how close they are to finishing the goal. They make mistakes, get impatient, and miss things, which is exactly what makes them useful.

So you end up with the depth of a user interview combined with the speed of automated testing, qualitative insight at a scale that would take months to get from real participants.

How does Flawd work?

  1. 1

    Define personas

Pick from a library or describe your own. Each persona carries different goals, technical comfort, and patience levels.

  2. 2

    Set goals

Tell them what to do the way you'd tell a real person. "Sign up and complete your profile." "Find the pricing page and compare plans."

  3. 3

    Run tests

AI users navigate your actual product on their own, clicking, typing, scrolling, and reacting to what they see.

  4. 4

    Get insights

Get step-by-step screenshots and full replays showing where each persona got confused, frustrated, or gave up.

Who is Flawd for?

Product, design, and engineering teams who care about shipping things that actually work for people.

Product managers use it to validate flows before launch. Designers use it to spot where interfaces break down. Engineers and QA leads use it to catch UX issues alongside functional bugs. If your team already runs usability tests, or knows it should, Flawd gives you a faster way to do it.

Our story

Usability testing has a timing problem. By the time you've recruited participants, scheduled sessions, and synthesized findings, the feature you tested has already shipped or the next sprint has moved on.

Most teams know their products have UX issues, they just can't test fast enough to find them all. We built Flawd so that running a usability test could be as casual as running a build.
